Christian, who grew up in the idyllic countryside of Bernau, discovered his passion for the fauna and flora of the forest at an early age, influenced by his father, a keen hunter. After leaving school, he was drawn out into the world, where he trained as an event organiser at a renowned Berlin event agency. His varied career took him further as a booker for an electronic indie label, bar manager in trendy clubs and production and logistics manager for various large companies.
His love of good food and extraordinary events eventually inspired Christian to organise a well-known pop-up dinner series, which led to the founding of his own catering company in 2015: Wild & Wiese was born!
Today, Wild & Wiese stands for first-class event catering and inspires a wide range of customers, from management consultancies to automotive groups and the tourism industry.
Christian and his dedicated team regularly cater for several thousand guests at trade fairs, company parties and customer events. He remains true to his love of detail and his penchant for the unusual. He likes to enrich his events with musical interludes, art performances and other cultural highlights. The network he can draw on is as diverse as Wild & Wiese’s culinary creations.
In his free time, Christian enjoys down-to-earth German cuisine when it’s not asparagus season. He likes to leave Asian dishes, especially Japanese and Korean cuisine, to the experts and therefore probably knows every Asian restaurant in the city.
