The 75th anniversary of KfW Bank was duly celebrated in a former power plant. There was a flying menu for the 450 guests based on culinary highlights from the 2000s.
For example, we served toast Hawaii with pineapple, cheese & vegan ham; king pies with vegetarian ragout fin; Caesar salad 2.0 – arancini croquettes with romaine lettuce; parmesan mousse & passion fruit; and Königsberger dumplings with beetroot tartare, potatoes & fried capers. Dessert included our interpretation of the classic Black Forest cake: cherry ice cream, chocolate tart, pavlova & pickled sour cherries.
